E-learning languishes in the classroom

A short article by Bernard Lane in The Australian highlights a survey of universities in 13 countries. The report concludes that e-learning has not yet revolutionised teaching in universities:"[Digital technology] has had more impact on administrative services such as admissions and registration... than on the fundamentals of classroom teaching and learning."
