CETIS is holding an event: "What is a PLE? The future or just another buzz word?", to discuss developments in Personal Learning Environments on the 7th June in Manchester.

Participants will learn more about the CETIS PLE project

The project has been working on developing the definition, scope and a refernce model for PLEs and have also developed desktop and portal based prototypes. This meeting will highlight the progress of the project and plans for future work and will gather views from partcipants.

The event will also include presentations from others working on PLEs.
