e-Learning and Pedagogy News autumn 2006

The autumn update from the e-Learning and Pedagogy and e-Learning and Innovation strands for the e-Learning Programme is now available. It includes news from the Design for Learning theme and completed reports from phase 1 of the Learner Experience for e-Learning studies.
Highlights from the update:
- Design for Learning: 14 projects started in May and presentations from May's start up meeting are available.
- Phase 1 of the Learner Experience of e-Learning (LEX) has completed - reports including a study in which 55 learners were interviewed to identify the characteristics of effective e-learners are now available.
- A circular for phase 2 of the Learner Experience theme will be released in mid-October.
- A review of gaming for learning, "Learning in Immersive Worlds" will be available later this month.
