The calls will cover the following areas and will be released at certain points during the year:
- Institutional Innovation: Lifelong Learning & Employer Engagement Release: October 2008. Start: March 2009. Duration: 2 years.
- Business and Community Engagement (BCE) and Organisational Support Activities
- CRM to support Business and Community Engagement
- Student lifecycle relationship management Release: March 2009. Start: July 2009. Duration: 9-12 months.
- Identity Management Toolkit Release: October 2008. Start: January 2009. Duration: 18 months.
- Repository Innovation: Systems and network service Integration Release: November 2008. Start: February 2009. Duration: up to 2 years.
- Repository Start-up and enhancement Release: November 2008. Start: February 2009. Duration: 2 years.
- Repository & digital resources interoperability demonstrators AND rapid innovation projects Release: November 2008 and March 2009. Start: January/February 2009 and March 2009. Duration: 3-6 months.
- Repository Preservation environments Release: November 2008. Start: February/March 2009. Duration: 18 months.
- Pathfinder projects: In automatic metadata and/or text-mining Release: November 2008. Start: February/March 2009. Duration: 18 months.
- Learning and Teaching Innovation Grants Release: Open & ongoing call for 3 years with fixed assessment points. Next assessment point January 2009. Duration: 1 year.
- Virtual Research Environments (VRE) Phase 3 Release: November 2008. Start: April 2009. Duration: 2 years.
- Million Books Challenge Release: November 2008. Start: February 2009. Duration: 1 year.
- JISC-NEH Transatlantic Digitisation Release: January 2009. Start: April 2009. Duration: 18-24 months.
- Institutional Skills and Strategies Release: February 2009. Start: May 2009.
