For many years a number of JISC programmes have looked at the way learning resources are used within the education sector. This includes creating, managing, sharing and re-using a wide range of materials ranging from case studies that illustrate pedagogical approaches, to question banks of multiple choice items, images, tools or learning objects.
This area of JISC activity has highlighted many cultural, institutional, technological and pedagogical issues relating to the development, design and effective use of resources for learning and teaching activities.
JISC would like to invite you to attend a conference which will be drawing together this body of work: Using learning resources: transforming the educational experience, being held on 22 January 2008 at Aston Business School, Birmingham
The aim is to take forward a synthesis of the wide range of previous work around e-content and "design for learning" to encourage an holistic approach to the design of effective learning experiences.
