XCRI Project showcased in Oxford

The meeting on 28th March summed up the work of the first year of the eXchanging Course Information Project (XCRI), and featured presentations from early implementors using the XCRI schema.

The XCRI (eXchanging Course Information) Project, arose due to a need identified by members of the CETIS Enterprise SIG (which focuses on transferring learner data between college systems and between institutions), to develop a standardised way of transferring prospectus or course information. The XCRI project is one of several Reference Model projects funded as part of the JISC e-Learning Programme.

The meeting in Oxford showcased the work of the project and more information, including the presentations and notes from the XCRI Project Showcase Meeting in Oxford (hosted by CETIS Enterprise SIG) are now available online.

Hot news - Project manager Mark Stubbs has just secured funding for an extension to the project.
