e-framework newsletter - December 2005

The first e-Framework for Education and Research newsletter maps out plans for e-framework developments over the next few months.

In this issue the e-framework editor Jon Mason introduces key areas of work for the next few months including:

  • Developing clear terminology and definitions
  • Developing process and procedure documentation
  • Mapping current development activity
  • Engaging key stakeholders

The newsletter reports on developments in Australia, including the RUBRIC (Regional Universities Building Research Infrastructure Collaboratively) project based at the University of South Queensland which will develop better processes and tools to create sustainable research infrastructure.

News from the UK includes the release of the XCRI draft XML schema.
