Jury Supports Blackboard Patent

Stephen Downes has collected reaction from across US and UK education to the news over the weekend that a jury in East Texas found the Kitchener software company Desire2Learn Inc. guilty of infringing on an American competitor’s patent, to the tune of $3.1 million.
