The slides, audio files and summaries are now available from a joint meeting of the JISC-CETIS special interest groups held on 12th October. The meeting focused on item banks and repositories and considered JISC IE and web 2.0 approaches.
The programme included:
- An introduction by Phil Barker of JISC-CETIS
- Introduction to QTI and item bank requirement by Steve Lay of the University of Cambridge
- Item banks and the JISC Information Environment by Andy Powell of Eduserv
- Learning Object Repository as item bank by Charles Duncan of Intrallect
- Architecture of an item bank by Mhairi McAlpine of the SQA
