An initiative funded by the JISC Learning and Teaching committee, the JISC e-Learning Programme brings together a diverse range of communities: practitioners in further and higher education and adult and community learning, software and infrastructure developers and the research community. Its aim is to improve the quality of e-learning though a greater understanding of effective practice in the use of technology.

JISC supports UK post-16 and higher education and research by providing leadership in the use of Information and Communications Technology in support of learning, teaching, research and administration.
