Assessment Web Services Projects

Assessment is a relatively mature e-learning area so its not surprising that there have been a number of successful JISC funded web service projects in this domain. In this article Rowin Young co-ordinator of the CETIS Assessment Special Interest Group discusses why assessment is important for the student learning experience with the aid of two scenarios and summarises the progress of some of the web service projects to date.
