From the e-Learning Programme there were sessions on the e-Framework for Education and Research, Transforming the Student Learning Experience, demonstrations of Petal and Open Mentor tools and the launch of the Designing Spaces for Effective Learning guide.

The Distributed e-Learning (DeL) strand of the e-Learning Programme is funding the development of innovative, standards based, open source tools for students and teachers which aim to provide new opportunities for learning.
